BLUE MOON STUDIO ... the best kept secret in the L.A. area. Private and comfortable in a rural  setting just minutes west of the San Fernando Valley.

Intimate for overdubbing and mixing, yet large enough for tracking and complex midi keyboard recording.  The studio includes an Amek G-2520 / 52 channel console with several Adat Xt 20's w/ Brc or other multitracks available on demand, along with a large array of outboard processing equipment including a Lexicon 480L, Neve Compressors and Equalizers, Urei 1176 Limiters, Summit Audio and DBX processors and more! A fairly extensive assortment of midi keyboards and samplers are also provided.

Gino Vannelli, Chaka Khan, Christopher Cross, Glenn Jones, Brenda Russell, Lori Perry, Gary Morris, Marilyn Scott, David Meece, Kudasai, Gianni Bella, Luis Conte, Jimmy Haslip & Russell Ferrante of the Yellowjackets are a few of the many artists that have been our guests here at Blue Moon.

Recent Blue Moon Studio News

Brenda Russell is in the studio tracking and mixing with Co-Producer Stephan Oberhoff for her upcoming release on Hidden Beach. Vinnie Colaiuta played Drums with Jimmy Haslip on Bass. Russell Ferrante added keyboards while Joe Vannelli handled the mixing with Joe Primeau assisting.

Also making use of the facility is Singer Marilyn Scott, with Joe Vannelli and Jimmy Haslip Producing. Guest background singers included, The Perry sisters with Maxanne Lewis, as well as Ross Vannelli and Leslie Smith.
